BROWN BAG LECTURES

The Arizona Strip Interpretive Association, in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, and U. S. Forest Service presents a series of informative and entertaining lectures on a variety of topics including local history, archeology, the natural sciences, travel, and photography.  Unless otherwise noted, the lectures start each Friday noon at the Interagency Information Center at 345 East Riverside Drive in St. George.

March 12: Life in Death Valley

Tim Croissant will share his knowledge as a botanist who is very familiar with fona and flora in this unusual environment.

March 19: Spring Fever

Tank the Tortoise and a few of his closest friends, along with Lauren Pejza, community Outreach Coordinator for the Washington County Habitat Conservation Plan (aka Red Cliffs Desert Reserve) will be here to celebrate the arrival of spring and discuss what changes the warmer weather will bring to the Mojave Desert.

March 26: Jeeping Adventures

Join Volunteer Paul Furr for entertaining stories of backroads exploration and adventure throughout southwestern Utah and the Arizona Strip
